The first kind of automobile part that involves mind when repairing one's car is OEM auto parts. The term "OEM" stands for "oe manufacturer," which means that OEM automobile parts come directly from the company that made the automobile in the first place. In other words, if someone's Chevrolet Cavalier were to are unsuccessful as a result of alternator or starter then an OEM alternator or starter could be purchased to be able to repair the automobile. The advantage of buying original equipment manufacturer auto parts is the actual fact that there will generally be a warranty on the part that is purchased.
